The two parks are on the same road and adjoin one another. As you will see, the scenery is breathtaking!!
Dead Horse Point
Would not have wanted to be in the road when this bolder came rolling by!!
First I saw a raven flying, off at a distance....
Then I saw one land....
Then I saw two ravens....
These two let me get really close!! They did not fear humans.
What a day!!!!
BEAUTIFUL!!!

DeleteI was just reading your blog and thinking about both of you. We are heading south from here (Indiana) to Tennessee and North Carolina before Marathon, Florida for the winter. Maybe we can hook up on the way south. We plan to be at the Carolina Clan Rally in late October; but, would like to see you before then. Time may be an issue as we need to be in Marathon as close to September 1 as possible. Enjoyed seeing the next generation RVing.
WOW!!! Beautiful photos!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the Chubby Trout last night - good to see you guys again!
We had a great time, also!! Hope to see you in Florida. We are in Franklin, Tennessee today with my son and his family. Then on to North Carolina before heading to the Keys.
DeleteGreat pictures - as usual. We loved that area. Hopefully, your weather was a little cooler than when we were there. Are they still filming "The Lone Ranger" along Potash Road?
ReplyDeleteThe filming was still in full swing. It was always around 104 degrees or above every afternoon. That is why we went on to Yellowstone and cooler weather. I really enjoyed your recent wildlife photos!!
DeleteBeautiful photos. I am near Cedar City to see Bryce and Zion then will head toward Moab. Time may prevent Mesa Verde. We'll see. See you in Marathon around Nov 15.
ReplyDeleteWe will be at Knights Key early next month. We have our bikes this time. Can hardly wait to ride together to Sombrero Beach.
DeleteIf you want to find a cooler place that is not too far away, Bryce Canyon is at a higher elevation. It is amazing.
