DEAD HORSE POINT & CANYONLANDS and RAVENS, CROWS OR BLACKBIRDS!?!?!?

While in Moab, Utah the PUPS, Evin and I went to Dead Horse Point State Park and Canyonlands National Park. As you will soon see, I was able to get real close to some blackbirds. Have to when the only camera I have is on my phone. The PUPS went wild because these birds dared to get in the way of their PATH!!

The two parks are on the same road and adjoin one another. As you will see, the scenery is breathtaking!!

Would not have wanted to be in the road when this bolder came rolling by!!

First I saw a raven flying, off at a distance....

Then I saw one land....

Then I saw two ravens....

These two let me get really close!! They did not fear humans.

What a day!!!!

    1. I was just reading your blog and thinking about both of you. We are heading south from here (Indiana) to Tennessee and North Carolina before Marathon, Florida for the winter. Maybe we can hook up on the way south. We plan to be at the Carolina Clan Rally in late October; but, would like to see you before then. Time may be an issue as we need to be in Marathon as close to September 1 as possible. Enjoyed seeing the next generation RVing.

  3. Great pictures - as usual. We loved that area. Hopefully, your weather was a little cooler than when we were there. Are they still filming "The Lone Ranger" along Potash Road?

    1. The filming was still in full swing. It was always around 104 degrees or above every afternoon. That is why we went on to Yellowstone and cooler weather. I really enjoyed your recent wildlife photos!!

  5. If you want to find a cooler place that is not too far away, Bryce Canyon is at a higher elevation. It is amazing.
