Evin and I had to leave Shidoni to take care of the PUPS. We really enjoyed our time there, especially visiting with Jeremy, an Art Consultant in the Gallery. We are really glad that our PATHS crossed!! I just had to share more of the work there.
Jeremy invited Evin and me to return on Saturday for a pouring of the hot bronze. If you are in that area and would like to experience art being created be sure to call 505-988-8001 ahead of time and make a reservation for the Saturday pourings. Hours of operation are on the Shidoni website.
Most of the art that I feature in this and the three posts I have done on Shidoni Bronze Foundry and Galleries are for sell. Call Jeremy at ext. 120 or 130 if you are interested in buying a piece of art.
Inside and outside there are works of art to behold...
Can you tell that Evin is enjoying herself at Shidoni?
Of all of the outdoor pieces the above spoke the loudest to me.
"Shidoni" is a greeting to a friend in Navajo.
Above is one my favorite pieces. If you look close in the two photos below you can see three reflections of me taking the photo.
That's Jeremy hard at work at his desk. The photos shown around him are by his father, also for sell!! There is art at Shidoni for most everyone's taste!!
