Revisiting the Bus Stop

The December 15, 2014 post, "San Antonio Street Scenes, the Alamo & River Walk", is one of my favorite posts to date. Tonight, I revisited the bus stop night shots and selected a few more to share...

The Cathedral of San Fernando at night.

The Cathedral of San Fernando earlier in the day.

The bus ride was very enjoyable.

  1. Hi Steve,
Your night shots are really colorful. In so many of them you've caught so much clarity without very much noise. Are you using a tripod at all?

    1. Hi Lenore,

Thank you. Just luck on my part. I have a tripod but I have never taken it out of the box it came in.

  2. Funny. I carry mine around in the car and never take it out.

    1. I agree. I wouldn't know an "f-stop" if it sat down beside me at the above bus stop!! I just point and shoot and sometimes this "blind squirrel" finds an "acorn", often with my cell phone. There is no substitute for getting out and taking the shot. It doesn't happen if you don't make the effort. Going back on the road in the next day or two looking for that "next great subject to capture"...
