A Little Further Down the Road

After a great time with Buddy and Sarah, we moved a further South toward the Keys. Our stop for the night was.... Walmart in Bushnell. Forgot to take a photo, but it was a great place for the night. Beautiful live oak trees.

Our luck prevailed, our RV-Dreams friend Linda was home in Goulds, Florida and we would get to spend some time with her on her beautiful and peaceful avocado farm. Another great place to RV.

Florida and Friends!!!!

Our first visit in Florida was in Panama City where my former neighbors, Buddy and Sarah, now live. Several years ago they built a beautiful home. What a great place for our first RV-experience in Florida. Of course, true to tradition, we had to go visit their favorite local Mexican restaurant which was great. Not to forget Bill, I also went looking around their yard and neighborhood for flowers.

Buddy has been a good friend for over 30 years.

FINALLY!!!! Leaving Indiana!!!!

We started our fifth week in the DRV parking lot and decided that the things left to be done could wait till Spring. Day after day of wind, rain and cold was just getting to be too much. We had planned to go from Howe, Indiana to Chicago and then take Route 66 to Oklahoma City to help my son, Trent, and his family get ready to move to Tennessee. But the time came for that and we were still in Indiana getting the "bugs out" of the RV. So we decided to head for Tennessee and spend Thanksgiving with Trent and his family and then go on to Florida for the month of December.

After four-plus weeks we are lined up to leave.... November 23, 2011.
