Sharon's Rose Revisited

Needless to say, I was intrigued and captivated by Sharon's rose. Contact with four of my RVing friends, especially my mentor, Carol Ann, inspired me to take more photos. As time progressed and the rain showers came and went I returned to the front porch and took a few more shots with my trusty Nikon D7000 in the fading light of day.

The constantly changing light effected the end results of my work. The same rose's color and texture varied as seen above and below as the sunlight faded near dusk or when the sun hid behind the rain clouds.

This bud's likeness and the similar ones that follow were taken with my Samsung Galaxy 6 cellphone camera.

  1. Those don't even look real?!!!!! Amaaaaziiing!! Please teach me how to shoot like that.

  2. It is all about light and the time of day. Will be glad to show you how I do it. Carol Ann is a wonderful mentor.
