Lily Belle
Soon, next Thursday to be exact, Bumble, Evin and I will add a new addition to our household. Meet "Lily Belle"!! She is one year old and weighs 9 pounds. She so reminds us of our dear beloved Doodlebug.
LILY BELLE
DOODLEBUG
No PUP will replace Doodle or Eddie. But, hopefully our broken hearts will heal with the new joy and adventures that we will have with Lily Belle.
Evin and I are very grateful that the Robeson County Humane Society helped rescue her and have, after a thorough investigation, granted our adoption of her.
Stay tuned more lots of more photos...

Sunday's Pink Ladies
This morning I look out off the back patio and saw some new blooms about to open on the "Pink Lady" hibiscus...
...and quickly noticed that there were four blooms about to open. So, I grabbed my Nikon and took a few shots...
...and an hour or so later they were in full bloom...
...WOW!!
Nice surprise this morning!!

A YEAR -- 365 days without Doodlebug
The PUPS of PUPPY PATHS.
Eddie was in Evin's and my lives for only 7 years. We miss him every day and think and talk of him often. We cannot think of Doodle without also thinking of Eddie for they were truly a pair looking for fun and adventure together.
This morning I cried on the way to the YMCA for our daily workout. My brain functions much better when I get fresh oxygen to it for an extended period of time. When I got on the exercise bike my phone alerted me that I had a text message. Below is the message my dear friend, Dana, sent me. What perfect timing and thoughtful kindness on Dana's part. That's just the kind of friend Dana is...
Doodlebug
Truly a faithful companion.

Bumble's Flowers & Friend
Needless to say, Evin and I have really gotten our money's worth out of the potted flowers we bought a couple of months ago. Although the hibiscus blooms only last one day, we have new blossoms almost every day. Bumble loves to go out with me when I water the flowers and take photos. She has gotten to where she likes to come over and pose for a photo every now and then.
Bumble's friend, Charles, came over from next door and check out what the fuss was all about.
Bumble wanted me to take some photos of her favorite color so when she went over to show me what she wanted, I obliged.
Another day of beauty!!
