A Day On The Maine Shore With Aidan!!

This past April the PUPS, Evin and I made a trip across the country to spend a few days with our grandson Aidan. My son, Chan, was on assignment with the Air Force in Spain and the rest of the family went over to visit during Spring break. Aidan had lacrosse games, so, we joined him for a little over a week of golf, lacrosse games, and a few road trips in the area...

Aidan, my first grandchild. At 16, in this photo, he is taller than his dad and me.

We started our adventure with a great lunch at Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery, Maine.

We then took some back roads along the river and took in some great coastal scenery.

Aidan walking down to the cliff.

Can you see Aidan looking out at the sea?

What a view from this window!!

Aidan had a pretty good view from the cliff''s edge.

Not only is Aidan a very good athlete, he is also a "thinker".

He climbed down the cliff to get closer to the ocean.

  1. Lived in Maine for 20 years - York Beach, East Boothbay Maine - I must have sold well over 150 paintings of Nubble light and the rest of the photos - been there - done that several times - we were back there this past June.
Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane.

    1. Your recent beach scene on www.rvpainter.blogspot.com inspired me to get out my old photos and do this post. Glad to see that you are back painting again. I really missed seeing the step by step photos of your work.
