Daffodils & Irises

The PUPS let me know this morning that they wanted to go walk on the PATHS at Green Valley Lake Park. The sky was overcast so I took my Nikon along for I knew there were daffodils and irises blooming on Main Street in Payson. We enjoyed our walk and we were not disappointed with the flowers either...

This post is for my dear friends Faye and Frank. Just wanted them to know that I was thinking about them. Faye loves flowers and Spring. Faye's birthday is the first day of Spring.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

The Bike Trail

This morning Chuck took Teresa, Evin and me on a great hike on what locals call the "bike trail". The photos that follow do not do justice to how difficult parts of the trail can be, especially if one is riding on a mountain bike.

Some locals say that this spot houses a vortex.

The views are not done justice by the photos.

At the end of our walk yesterday there was an iris at the Elk's Club that caught my attention...

Deer Tenderloin Supreme!!

Last night Evin and I were in for a real treat, deer tenderloin cooked to perfection!! Chuck and Gerry invited us over for dinner with Chuck's niece, Teresa, aka:  "Baby Dumpling", and her husband, Mike, who were visiting from Missouri.

Chuck and Gerry had never eaten venison and were a little hesitant and anxious. Evin had never eaten any that tasted good to her. Tonight would be different, thanks to "Chef Mike", we were all in for a very pleasant culinary surprise that far exceeded our expectations...

The meat was so tender you could literally cut it with a butter knife!!

Umm umm good!!

Signs of Spring!!

Late this afternoon Evin and I took the PUPS for a walk at Green Valley Lake in Payson. We had already walked three miles in the morning with the "Payson Walkers". It was 72 degrees and the PUPS were excited. There were signs of Spring on our PATH...

After our walk we celebrated the closeness of Spring with what else, burgers on the grill!!

FINI for now as the sun is setting on another beautiful day in Arizona. What a wonderful PATH we are on with the PUPS!!
