Revisiting the Bus Stop

The December 15, 2014 post, "San Antonio Street Scenes, the Alamo & River Walk", is one of my favorite posts to date. Tonight, I revisited the bus stop night shots and selected a few more to share...

The Cathedral of San Fernando at night.

The Cathedral of San Fernando earlier in the day.

The bus ride was very enjoyable.

More San Antonio River Walk

Literally, I took thousands of photos in San Antonio in January. Some I had never seen and looking at them makes me want to go back. I especially enjoyed the River Walk and spent many happy hours walking several miles in and around the river. I rode the bus to the River Walk bus stop which is only a couple of blocks from the Alamo.

As soon as I get off the bus I start taking shots. The entrance steps to River Walk are just across the street...

I turn and take a shot of where I had just gotten off the bus. To my left is the La Antorcha de la Amistad (Spanish for "The Torch of Friendship") and "The Tower of the Americas". I don't even have to walk a block...

Water taxis going and coming...

Below is a photo that I do not remember seeing when I did the January 7, 2014 post, "Diana, Lady In Black"...

Can you see "The Torch of Friendship" and "The Tower of the Americas" in the background of the above photo?

Can you see the appeal of the River Walk? At night it is a magical place of colors and reflections!!
