I sat in the far corner of the restaurant next to some sliding doors that were closed when I sat down. Suddenly the door opened and I spied some colorful wall murals...
From a distance I see the artist, Robert Ytuarte, hard at work on his magnificent mural.
What a privilege it was to spend time with Robert Ytuarte, such a talented artist. He shares with me that he also loves to take photographs as well.

Is this place in a Mexican plaza near the governor's old house a dozen blocks north of the Riverwalk? If so, I was there on a walking tour years ago during a convention. The restaurant looks like a place we will want to visit. So fun that you got to meet the artist while he was painting.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is the same one I think. I rode the bus from the KOA to a stop across the street from the market. The park was on the same side of the street as the bus stop. Most of the shops were closed in the Mexican Market, wrong time of year. City Hall and the governor's old house was not that far away.
