Sunset & Roses +

This evening the PUPS and I walked West on a dead end road instead of East toward Perry's roses. The clouds looked like there may be a sunset worth taking a few shots of...

As soon as the sun disappeared below the horizon I hurried to Perry's to see if his roses had opened in the 70 degree weather this afternoon...

Perry suggested that I take a photo or two of his Christmas lights. I gladly obliged...

Did you notice that the lights on the trees are twinkling?!?!?

You can see Perry's roses to left of the Christmas tree in the center of the photo shown above.

On the road to the campground is an industrial plant that has a beautiful lake and fountain...

  1. Steve, I am blown away by #1 the vertical dead end, and #4 the horizontal dead end. Just beautiful art.

  2. I am so thrilled you are shooting in twilight. The light is so tender on the yellow roses. Just exquisite work. Focus - sharp. Wonderful compositions. Fabulous background to complement the main subject. My flower pix are not this good. I bet you could print frame and sell some of these at quartzsite.
