So on my way over to their house I just had to run by Perry's and see what changes occurred with the rose blossoms overnight. It was still raining and the wind was blowing so I didn't know if I could get any good shots. If the wind is blowing too much my camera will not focus and it will not allow me to take a shot.
I was particularly interested in the rose bud that originally had a pink tip and was in front of the red roses. I want to go back and show the progression as the rose bud matured over four days...
Day One
Day Two
Day Three
Day Four
I was only at Perry's for ten minutes; but, I took a few more shots for my artist friend, Dick. He likes raindrops on flowers, bees and bugs. Yesterday I was able to capture a few honey bees and a bug. Today, despite the heavy winds, I thought I might be able to capture a raindrop or two...
How is this one Dick?!?!?
Beautiful photos - that yellow is quite intense - just brilliant!! Love those rain drops!!! :>)
ReplyDeleteThought you might enjoy these. Glad you did. The wind was blowing so strong I didn't think I would have any good shots when I took them. I was pleasantly surprised.
