Been Busy!!

A couple of days ago I talked with my friends Bill and Linda who are weathering the winter storms back in North Carolina. Bill asked why there had been no PUPPY PATHS post. I told him that Evin and I were back on the road together and that we had really been busy as well as being in many remote areas with neither cell nor Internet service. Bill said he would like to see some photos of us instead of my favorite flower of the moment.

So, I will start with where we are today, Apache Junction, Arizona at the Lost Dutchman State Park which just happens to be on one of my favorite scenic PATHS, Arizona Highway 88.

My friend Chuck came over from Payson and accompanied Evin and me on our drive.

The view of Superstition Mountain from our campsite at Lost Dutchman State Park.

A sunset view from our campsite at the Rodeo Grounds at Lake Havasu City, our location before coming to Apache Junction. Evin and I met five other Escapees couples for the annual Winter Blast fireworks...

...and boating on the Colorado River...

...Sue's photo of the boat Evin and I were in.

Before Lake Havasu City we were in Parker, Arizona with our friends, Carol Ann and "Big" Steve.

Before Arizona we were in Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico and Fort Davis, Big Bend National Park, and Caverns of Sonora in Texas...

Below is Fort Davis National Historic Site and surrounding area...

Below, Evin took several wildlife photos...

Before Big Bend National Park by chance we stopped and took the last tour of the day at Caverns of Sonora. What a treat, some really beautiful crystal formations...

Yes, Bill, I did take a flower shot or two!!
