In an earlier post I noted that this is my fourth visit in three years to Taos and Angel Fire. Countless numbers of times I have driven by the above stain-glass topped sign that denotes the Thom Wheeler Gallery. Usually my attention was on going to some other place. Well, Evin and I finally stopped and were we ever in for a treat.
In his bio it is noted that "Thom Wheeler makes art that springs from a joy of living and an unflinching optimism." In didn't take much more than a minute with Thom to experience the reality of the statement.
Lavinia and Thom's home and studio are well worth the stop. Their infectious optimism made us feel very welcomed.
