Leiper's Fork, Tennessee

In August I took several of my all-time favorite flower photos when I was parked in Leiper's Fork near my son Trent and his family.

Just a short walk from where I took the above flower shot is the Village of Leiper's Fork. It is known for country cooking, antiques, fine art and one-of-a-kind furniture. What follows are just a few of the reasons I spent many hours and days roaming about the village.

For starters I will show what one first sees when coming in on Old Hillsboro Road/Hwy 46 south of Franklin and Nashville...

The first business I visited was Leiper's Creek Gallery. Lisa Fox, Proprietress, graciously allowed me to take photos...

Lisa's husband, David, is the Proprietor of the Copper Fox which is just a few doors away...

Can you see what the above bird is pecking at?

Next door is the David Arms Gallery...

Google "Leiper's Fork" and click on "Shopping" for more information on the individual business in the Village. Mike Wolfe of American Pickers and his family live in Leiper's Fork.

More posts of Leiper's Fork will follow...

Doodlebug teeters on the fence in anticipation!!

Just had to post one more passion flower.

  1. Found my way to your blog via your comment on crosscountrydancing.blogspot.com. I enjoy the stories your pictures tell in these posts. And Leiper's Fork looks like a really fun place. We'll be sure to visit it next time we pass through that part of TN. Merry Christmas!
